John Afoun, executive director of the Moline Housing Authority, said the complex will serve those on the Moline Housing Authority’s waitlist. That list includes 1,030 people, he said.
“There is a tremendous need for housing nationwide and here in the Quad-Cities,” Afoun said. “We believe a little drop of water makes a mighty ocean. We may not be able to address all the housing needs, but the little we can do goes a long way."
